Studio owner Rachel Yu took her first pottery class when she was 10 years old and the rest, as they say, is history.  After having taught in various studios and schools, the opening of Old Borough Hall Pottery fulfills her lifelong dream of owning her own teaching studio.  The love of the mud runs deep and Rachel is committed to sharing her passion for pottery with the community.  

Our teaching team is comprised of instructors who are skilled in their craft and are expert teachers - teaching matters, a lot!  We specialize in adjusting our style and pace to meet the needs of first-time potters and help hone the skill set of those who are advanced and looking to refine their practice.  We learn from each other and our students each day and consider the ability to teach and share the love of our craft with others a GIFT.
